you hoping for 600? you are going to need to upgrade the spring in your FORGE MBC to a stiffer one trust me i know. Im not sure about that clutch holding all that power either might want to consider upgrading to exedy twin hd. Not sure the bov is going to hold that much psi either without leaking to be honest you will be around 35psi or higher to net your 600. Everything else looks solid. Im surprised MAP did not say anything about those parts

Seriously? You need to stop chiming in on things you don't even have a clue about. Clutches are rated in torque, not horsepower. I'm sure that clutch will last perfectly fine as long as he knows how to properly use a clutch and not slipping the **** out of it.

Heck the STOCK clutch can hold 400wtq. 400wtq @ 7500rpm = ~570whp. Not saying the stock clutch will like it though.

If you had half a brain, you would understand why some people make the clutch the weakest link in their drivetrain...

I know whats up and i know clutches are rated in tq i was equating the whp to the tq. But i see your the type that needs it explained fully. Its a forum we can comment on anything. Nothing is stopping anybody from hitting the search button and verifying any bit of information received

A lot of times people set their clutch to give at a lower threshold to prevent damage to the trans, it's cheaper to do a clutch rebuild then replace a tranny

There is nothing wrong with the choice in blow off valve. I have had mine hold up to 46psi on an FP Black. It doesn't leak. Personally I would step it up to a 4inch ETS intercooler with a 600whp goal in mind.

Congrats on your build man! I am sad because I have to ruin my 2.4L plans... :'(...Anyways, why didn't you go with MAP Stage 2 block? I am just curious because with E-85 and an fp black I am assuming you want at the very least 500whp. When I was putting the 2.4L together I was planning on going with a similar set-up to yours...fp black and e-85 but stage 2. Also, let me know how the transmission rebuild from Jacks holds up with the ACT. What compression are you running on the motor and I wonder if you switch to GSC S2's how much more power can you make? Good luck and keep us posted on the car!

well i run a 2.4 that makes 661awhp 650ft lbs torque. i had a hdss act 6 puck and it held fine to about 580 ft lbs. then it slipped once and would never hold the power after that so i had to upgrade to a twin disc setup as well. would recommend going ahead and upgrading to aviod any down time later. the 2.4 makes great torque but is hell on clutches. my max hp and max torque numbers have never been more than 25 apart. good luck.

I talk to them about the springs in the MBC they said they would change them if needed. As I said before I have a lot of money in this right now the ACT 6 Puck advertises 650 LBs of TRQ. We will see if not then I will step it up.
