Best Glue to use to Seal Tails after open

gonna be opening up my tail lights either this weekend or next, and wondering what's the best or one of the better glue's i can use to seal them back up.

please post if you know someone that's used a type of glue, or if you've had experience with a type of glue. i want to do this properly and not looking for "i think xxxx might work well" type answers.

thanks in advance

dj

i'd get clear RTV for the heatgun or baking portion of sealing the lights. then i'd apply clear window sealant(its very thin) as it will creep into every tiny crevice after the lights are sealed.

yeah man you want to do it right b/c BOTH my head lights and tail lights get condensation in them when it rains. Not only are they not sealed properly but its missing the rubber seal that goes around them!
