Wow that would scare the crap out of me. I would look around the pedal area to see if there has been any tampering/debris or possibly something broken.

You obviously have one of these under your hood.

Corrective action:

Open your hood and shine one of these all over and it will fix your problem.

Get some holy water and spray it on the car while saying "The power of christ compels you!" Should get rid of the demons reving your car.

Back to reality, my friend's car did the same. Forgot what he did to fix it so i will talk to himand report back.

the odds of your IAC motor being able to pass enough air to rev it that high are slim.

Hahahahahaha....

Ok no seriously.... This happend too me aswell. I was driving uphill and I just put the car into 2nd and omg the car just accelerates by itself... All the way too 8rpms then I put my foot on the break and the car keeps accelerating... While my fit is on the brake.... So my buddy was in the car with me at the time and I told him too "look" I took my feet away from the pedals and the car was going by itself... I hit the clutch and all I smell is the clutch burning up... So I pull over and turn the car off and it...shuts off with the noise you would hear.. When someone revs there car really high and turns it off.

That **** was scary! Omg typing on this phone sucks!!!
