if you want a ***** out drag motor get a 2.1 built
use a 4g64 block and a 4g63 crank, almost perfect square motor with stroke andbore so deff the most sound also imo

When AMS build their blue demon that was featured on super street, I believe the motor in it was a 2.3L RR that was able to rev to 9k, this info came from AMS tuner chris himself.

Yes the ams blue demon uses the 2.3rr. I'm not sure how deep your pockets are but the 2.3RR block from ams is 8200. I'm sure you can build something else for far less than that with a built head also for that kind of money

There are a lot of threads out there about the stroker kits and 2.4 vs. the 2.4LR.

std rev limit of the 2.3 100mm/150mm = 8500
std rev limit of the 2.4 200mm/156mm = 8700

Not said that you can't take them higher, but the more stress you put on the motor the more negative effects it will have on the longivity. Kevin Kiggly revs to 9300 in a std rod 2.3.

Read this thread. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ot-stroke.html

Thread. Closed. Research. There is a lot out on this topic.
