Do takata Eye bolts Fit into evo factory seat belt bolt locations?
So i got a takata harness off a evom member, i guess they got it with the car and it wasnt installed when they bought it. So i was going to order the Takata eye bolts from jscspeed. I called him and asked if they fit evo seat belt bolt holes. He could answer me yes or no.
So my question is has anyone on here bought a takata harness with there eye bolts and been able to install them in factory locations??

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Takata eye bolts will fit the Evo's OEM shoulder belt fixing points, down low on the sides of the car between the front and rear door openings; and the two bolt holes in the floor under the rear seat cushion for the rear seat belts, which are all M11 x 1.25. The Takata eye bolts will NOT fit the two rear fixing points for the Evo's front seats, which are M10 x 1.25.
AFAIK, the only place you'll be able to find M10 x 1.25 eye bolts is here:
http://www.binaryeng.com/products%20...0brackets.html
- but @ $24 each, I'll just drill a couple holes in my floor, buy these OMP 7/16-20 FIA-approved eye bolts for five bucks each:
https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr....asp?RecID=941
- and make the matching reinforcement backing plates myself out of 1/8" thick plate steel from Home Depot.
Grade 8 7/16-20 zinc-coated nylon insert lock nuts to match the OMP eyebolts are only 31 cents each from Fastenal: http://www.fastenal.com/web/products...l.ex?sku=37585
- or $3.45 for a 10-pack from Mcmaster-Carr: http://www.mcmaster.com/#cadinlnord/97135a245/=jolp53

JSCSpeed doesn't sell the Takata eyebolts anymore. The best place to order the Takata EB-02 (short) or EB-03 (long) eye bolts is HeelToe Automotive:

In any case, I've since learned that the seat belt bolts on cars sold in the U.S. apparently have to meet some SAE standard or another, regardless of where the car's manufactured, so the bolts locations I thought were M11 x 1.25 may actually be 7/16"–20 (7/16" diameter, 20 threads per inch) instead.
11 mm (.433") is damn close to 7/16" (.437"), and a 1.25 mm per thread multiplies out to 20.3 threads per inch. Both of those figures are close enough to safely thread an 11 mm x 1.25 pitch metric bolt into a 7/16" - 20 SAE nut and vice versa.
So, instead of buying the Takata M11 x 1.25 eyebolts at 10 bucks a pop, you can just use the more commonly available 7/16"-20 sized eyebolts at half the price:
