Gun pulled on me while drivin my evo
We just had a guy last week cut another guy off. The men pull up to a light and jump out and one of them shot and killed the other one. Over what, people are nuts. I carry, but I won't ever pull it out unless my family or myself are in danger.
I know it's hard in the heat of the moment and your instinct is fight or flight. You are a fight. Each person will react different.
People can sit back and say what they want over this because it's an analytical situation when you read about it...when you're actually IN the situation it is emotional and you make decisive and blunt choices from instinct. So the "tough guy" stuff has nothing to do with it.
Although now that everyone can sit back and analyze, you might of had better luck just following the guy like nothing is wrong and getting his plate and info and such and tell the cops you were tailing him until they come along. When they find the gun in the car...who knows where it goes from there.
But I'm glad you're ok. Anyone doing that will get their *** handed to them one day. Calm down, put it in perspective and be thankful no one and no property was harmed.

The real problem is the complacency of the civilian population. The Government tells you to let it slide. Other civilians tell you it’s not worth it. The criminals gain free reign to act however they wish.
It’s almost as if Americans are all being groomed into having no backbone at all.

This dude could have gotten killed and never even found out why. I'm just saying, don't risk your life over something so dumb, when other things are going on. I know we all do stupid things out of anger. I just hope you learned something from this. Glad to hear noone was hurt.
So, I'll deff agree, getting out of the car was a big mistake but I'll agree on the pride part, I've had guns pulled on me and needless to say the other guy got a broken finger and a discharged fire arm to go on his record, completely different situation but still, if it was me I would have had my 45 just for this reason, I've learned and I'm only 21, my life isn't worth the car or the safety of everyone around me,
When I was deployed to Iraq getting shot at was a normal thing and you really don't know what you have till your best friend bleeds out in your arms and you can't doing anything and have nothing to prove/show for it except nightmares and PTSD,
Nothing is more foolish then to risk your own life and everyone around you, you just have to keep a cool head and think 3 steps above your enemy and know exactly what you'll do once your there and can't turn back.
Bad day yea but worse day if your brother had to put you 6 feet under.
