Evos and beater cars?
i drive my 1985 TOYOTA 4RUNNER almost 6 days a week. this truck is a beast, i never call it a beater tho...i have just as many mods in mind as i do my evo.
on nice days i rock the 88 honda CBR600F hurricane.
i love to keep the miles off the evo, its my baby and doesnt need to waste its engineering greatness on driving me to work.
i sold the gsx a week after getting the evo.
the cash gets thin when you mod more then one whip, and keep your girls goin too.

no group pic with the evo yet
and i dont got the bike out.

I had a 91 nissan truck that i bought for 300.00 it was lowered and it had a ka24 i was going to turbo it but i wreck it on a rainy day on a on-ramp the rear end was bouncy and light regardless it just kept going and going i sold it for 50 bucks with 388,000 miles i kind of regret it lol
Had a 90's Jeep Cherokee that I tried to keep running while I had the EVO. Had to put oil in it every other day and the power steering pump was on its way out. First day I drove it, it snapped a passenger side connector rod. Transmission was slipping something awful and all of the sensors were going bad so I would get a warning every 30 seconds.
i bought the evo to be my new dd but then never sold the maxima i had before it so the evo gets mods and sleeps in the garage and the maxima gets driven..154000 miles and counting
My Evo is my daily driver. My 9 second Mustang used to be but now just weekends when I feel like it. I will never understand why people are so concerned about keeping miles off a car they love. If you love it, drive it, don't save it for the next guy, ENJOY IT! I really enjoy driving my Evo and I don't have to wait until summer!

I have a 91 Honda Accord that I bought on Craigslist when I spun the bearings in the Evo in 2008. It had 159,XXX miles and she's got around 180,XXX or so . It's beige with a replacment green hood. I leave the doors unlocked cause it's such a POS that it gets looked over.
I have a 99 civic lx 4 door 5 speed, and put skunk2 sturts springs lower control arms rear tie bar and front and rear camber kit lol..its good on gas and its not loud (stock exhaust)...and I autox the evo
I daily drive a 98 civic CX auto. 108k on that bad boy. Bought it with 80k on it never gave me a problem. All I do is change the oil and plugs once in awhile. Really keeps the mileage down on the evo and its awesome on gas.
I haven't had the Evo for long, but it's been down for repairs more than on the road. I brought it home and discovered it had a dead alternator/battery. Shortly after I fixed that, I didn't latch the hood after messing with it one night, next day I backed out the garage and got to 60 mph when the hood came up, NOW. New OEM hood is $1100, if you can find one, so insurance paid for Vis C.F. hood, AND hood pins so it don't come up. Then I did a S.S. Turbo manifold, O2 housing, downpipe, AEM wideband , and the T-case got the whine. So it's down AGAIN. Also spent a day on lightbar/ 4 hella's, plus a skidplate/towhook. I'll install canards while T-case is out. Second vehicle is handy, if you can afford one.
