I drive mine everyday, and it's an amazing car.

That said, I want a small truck so I can actually haul stuff and still get good gas mileage. Sadly, the evo does neither of those very well.

 

WRX and CRX are gonna be my beaters once I get back from deployment, my Evo is gonna be the weekend warrior since Im going with the big boy build.

 

I had a 96 monte carlo given to me that needed the head gaskets changed. So I drive that to keep the miles down on the evo and so the evo can be parked in the winter and not get all the salt on it from northern michigan roads through the cold months.

 

heres mine, 55mpg on the highway.. drive evo one day a week LOL

 

^^ im guessing thats a tdi at 55mpgs... i kinda hate dubs tho, at least its a diesel. i wanna do a diesel swap on my 85 4runner

 

i bought a 96 del sol, that was originally supposed to be a DD and a little gas sipping drop top. it never ended up turning into a DD it now has a fresh paint job, gold rota svns, jdm honda decals as well as my latest purchase for it a set of DC5 red recaro seats. so now i have two play cars and i tend to drive one of my parents cars out, when i either go to work or some other tedious driving. the evo usually comes out on the weekends and as for the sol she gets pulled out every so often

 

Im looking for a beater... Im sometimes driving 200 plus miles per day for work and I hate seeing the odometer climbing in the evo... She runs like a champ, but deserves better...

85 cavalier. i have replaced tons of stuff since owning it. just a few are belts, alt,
clutch. all tires . driver axle. brakes. radiator and hoses. removed carpet and installed my own. spray paint car black with baby blue strips. headlights. and then spun a bearing so i rebuilt the motor. even with all that and lots more i still only have about 1100 dollars in it. i bought the car for 125 from a friend... 30 mpg in town!!!

 

98 honda civic, but I try to drive the evo everyday because i just love it

 

Just picked up a new "beater" for a daily driver. 2011 wrx. My evo is stock until i get all my parts, but as of now the wrx would rape it in a strait line. Evo murders it around a corner though.

 

just picked up another jeep for the winter and rainy days... trying to keep the evo rust free!

 

got a 91 honda civic ef hatch, dumped on stealies with 100k miles..4 speeed
