i dont know why but it feels weird when people own a wrx and and evo..
nothing against subes, iv just been rocking for 10 years now. buying a wrx over an evo, after owning 4 mits just seems wrong.

Had a 97 civic coupe automatic for almost a year, drive it to and from school/work/home depot. love it.35mpg. takes 87 oct and has a cd player, power steering and ac/heat. The evo is great but is just honestly annoying to drive sometimes unless your hammering it.

I was daily driving my 01 Silverado stepside, until it cost me 45 bucks from a HALF OF A TANK to fill up, lol.

Now I am back to daily driving my 89 Mirage Turbo Hatchback, still with the 1.6 DOHC in it. Small 16g, 450cc injectors, full 3 inch exhaust, 1g BOV, Hallman MBC, Walbro 255, K&N filter, and a Turbo XS FMIC. Still Gets 34mpg if I don't beat the crap out of it, lol. Only takes 45 to fill up with 93 with the gas light on Still running strong as crap with 185k

The Evo chills in the garage beside my Dad's SS Camaro, both under covers, lol.

I have a built 2.0 6 bolt longblock sitting on the engine stand, but it needs a turbo, jmf intake mani, exhaust mani, etc, lol. and fundage has stopped due to looking for a house.

Currently have a 07 Nissan Titan SE as a DD. I mainly got it so i can haul the Evo to the track. Definitely not a gas saver but i like it.

Ive went through a variety of DDs to keep the Evo as a weekend warrior/ track car
- 07 Toyota Camry SE
- 02 Nissan Sentra Se-R Spec V
- 97 Ford Escort
- 91 Mazda RX-7
- 89 BMW 535i

Due to having at DD the Evo only has 15K miles

Wow... you keep your cars in freakishly good condition.

I can certainly agree with this. I hate driving my evo in the city/town even more so in rush hour traffic. I have light arthritis in both my knees and driving in town sometimes tears my left knee up something fierce. Some days I almost hit the ground when I get out and limp into the house

I love taking it out on the back roads though. Nothing better than serious curves and wide open straights mixed.

Thanks man, I have OCD I guess when it comes to cleaning my cars, lol.

I just spent all day Saturday detailing the Mirage, lol. Those pictures are a year old. The truck is always spotless, and never goes in the mud . Just pulls cars, and my fourwheeler.

I know your pain on this dude. I hate being stuck in traffic, I always wind up putting the car in neutral and letting the clutch out or I'll never be able to walk.

Yeah I do that as well, but having a stop light every (what seems like) block is insane. that and so many people cannot drive around here.

BTW I agree that Mirage is awesome looking. I love it. Despite its age it looks very new.

Someone blew up my 08 RR EVO X in my driveway by dumping gasoline all over my interior and of course, lit it.

So i went out and bought an 92 civic Beat-TER man, this things window doesn't roll down, floors are always soaked from an unknown leak i've been too lazy to try to find, MPH gauge doesn't work(most of the time), rattles pretty good in random spots... its the works!

but hey at least im the second owner and its alll stock still except for coilovers. Best spent 1,500 dollars ever.

And now i have my 08 WW EVO X for weekends too

I think it would be nice to have a daily driver beater but the evo is just too much fun and easy to drive to ever pick up a beater.

personally i hate daily driving the evo. maybe its because I have an SE now and the suspension is stiff as hell. OTOH ive found the GTI with DSG makes for a great daily driver. Good on gas, wonderful transmission, great engine, nice interior, and a decent amount of space.

I've got a beater 91 miata i've had since i was 15. It still runs even after all the abuse it's seen. not that comfy of a ride but it gets alot better gas mileage than my evo on the corn juice
