Evo 9 Swap Into Evo 8 (NO SPARK)??

Hey guys yesterday i just finished up one of my cars that i have sold to a friend.

Well its a 2003 evo 8 and i did full Evo 9 Mivec swap to it.

I installed a Evo 9 Mivec motor, Evo 9 Harness, Evo 9 Ecu and evo 9 6 speed trans.

The only issue im having is the car cranks over just fine but has 0 spark at the sparkplugs.

NOTE: The motor cam out of a car that i drove to my house, so the full swap is in perfect running condition.

Any ideas on what i may have missed?

this is my question tho, since i put the full swap into a evo 8, doesnt that mean i have to match the key to the new ECU?

Technically i have a Evo 8 Key with a Evo 9 ECU and Full Swap

The key needs to be in sync with the ecu.

You can try to disable it.
