Hi I drive a 03 evo 8 currently at 95000 miles. Had it for two years and currently this problem just came up, on a cold morning, when i turn on the car. The RPM drops below 1, and starts shaking and if i don't put gas in it, it'll stall by itself.

I gave it to my mechanic and he said, its the idol control motor wearing out. I have never heard of this term before does anyone know anyone selling or parting this out?

In addition, my steerling wheel is always shaking when idoling, does anyone know what could be the problem to this? Thanks.

If you mechanic is right then the fix is a idle control motor.

Replace the Idol, opps.. idle control motor or generally called ISC..
