Wing removal help

I had a 2004 Evo RS years ago, and I've really wanted to get back into an Evo, and I'm very happy to say that I was able to find a nice Evo 9 MR last week, and made the move!

Being an RS owner from before, I always liked the wingless look, so I've decided to do this, after viewing many threads and looking at many photos, etc. I've done a lot of searching and have found minimal info on how to take care of the holes that are left when removing the wing. It looks kinda nasty, there are some cracks, and I'm just looking to clean it up and not spend a ton... I'm fine with having a bolt or cap on it to cover it up.

I saw a thread on this somewhere but I can't seem to find it again.

Here are a few shots of what I'm talking about...
Driver's side:

Passenger (worse than driver side)

If anyone has any advice, it would be much appreciated. The car is rather dirty right now, but I look forward to getting 'er all cleaned up and taking some DECENT shots to put up!

If you're going to commit to going wingless you need to have the holes welded up and the trunk reshot. From the pics you put up it looks like there may have been some work done to the trunk before.

I would get it fixed and sprayed. Do it right then you won't have to worry about the paint getting worse or rust.

I think the cheapest way is to find someone with a wingless gg and trade.

I've never seen a trunk look that bad after the wing was removed. I would just look for someone selling a wingless GG trunk as it will cost a fair bit to get that fixed up at a body shop.

The best option is to get it welded and resprayed or go with the rexpeed spoiler

That is real sleek. I wished I had seen that when I took mine off years ago.

+1.... think I'm gonna have to go this route! Thanks for all the input, guys, it's nice to see all the options, and I've seen the rexpeed spoiler before, but wasn't sure exactly what it was or where to find it. It's clean and simple...

i just took my wing off recently and it defintly didnt look like that under there....did you stick a screw driver under the wing to budge it out or something? i went to a decal shop and had small vinyl stickers made up and put them over the wholes... that's clearly not going to work for you... but i actually been thing about getting the rexpeed spoiler or carbon trunk..
