help: rpm drop

I recently installed a greddy bov (recirculated) that is also adjustable. Since then, ive noticed an rpm drop sometimes when i put it in neutral. It would drop below one and rev back up by itself. Would adjusting the bov help this?

other mods: k&n drop in filter and invidia catback

also... i have a slight rpm hang (over rev) inbetween shifts at higher rpms. would this be a sign of a leak somewhere?

thanks!

have you tried to adjust it?

I had the same problem when installed my Tial bov.
Had to go with a stiffer spring.

yea sounds like your bov is leaking or opening way to early . Try adjusting it and making.it stiffer a bit.

well if you have rpm hang, first thing to check and clean is the inside of the tb, clean it up with tb cleaner, use like a microfiber cloth thats not dirty or full of lint, clean the inside, now if the cars rpms drop when comin to a red light, stiffening the spring will make it worse, since you have a greddy like me(im running the rs), loosen the lock nut, and on the hex screw, remember how many threads you have right now, loosen the hex screw one thread, go for a drive, do some of the same things you do where it started to become a problem.. then troubleshoot that way, if you keep goin loose and get its worse try stiffening the spring, youll find a happy medium. good luck
