Hey everyone... I've heard many stories of people having their oil filters either damaged or ripped off from going off track and other things.. I was curious if anyone has done a oil filter relocation on their evos? ? I have a greddy relocation kit for an rx7..and they are the same size and threading as the evo.. so I was thinking about relocating the filter somewhere higher up on the body away from possible damage .... but will I lose oil pressure from the added lines? And if so, enough loss to make it unwise to do it? Any other drawbacks?

I did one on my rx7 and loved it..worked perfectly..

 

I'd ask AMS if they ever did it...if they say no just forget about it or just have a removalable protective plat fabbed up to protect it
