I prefer single outlet angled exhausts like the Evo anyway. On my RX-8 I went from a dual outlet to a single outlet. It's more efficient, less weight and looks better. Dual outlet looks gross on the Evo imo.

that just looks weird for a evo dual exhaust and dual fog rear fog light. looks like some one just wants to many accessories on there evo. just keep it clean and fast

Increased flow reduced emissions?

Would a larger outlet/downpipe splitting into a dual factory exhaust with a factory cat and factory muffler on each side increase flow but retain or reduce factory emissions and noise? I assume that splitting the load would increase flow but keep it smog legal. I don't plan on reducing overall weight from stock but I can reduce the weight of some things to compensate for the extra exhaust components.
