Very weird idle! (with video) PLEASE HELP!!!
Ok, I know I said that I was going to re-install the EGR valve yesterday, but...... my girlfriend is a crazy B***H and I never got the time to do it. So It'll be done tonight!
lol....wait until you're married with kids. the only "me time" i have is when im taking a dump.
I have the same problem going on right now. it just started this morning. its so frustrating. im going to check for leaks on all my piping tomorrow morning. plus the fact that i barely beat on my car at all. i got my 60k maint done about 2 weeks ago and thought i would be in the clear. FML!!
Hey everyone I just figured out te prolem I checked out a couple of videos on youtube and whatnot. What if just what if your timing is off im talking maybe say skipped a tooth or two. I think that would cause a problem dont even drive the car anymore just go to a shop and have them check it out.
I think mine jumped a tooth im not sure how but I dont think its a problem with the tune. Personally I think this is the issue because when I start my car it sounds like a diesel bus starting up it makes a loud squeel for a split second and then idles norm then idles like ****. Along with the vacuum leaks it doesnt make anything better either.

What is the code that it has thrown? I have not seen what the code was? The first thing that you should start looking at is whats related to the code.
A few things-
Cam timing can be off, just saw this on a IX that had a misadjusted tensioner and it slipped 2 teeth on the exhaust cam.
O2 stuck lean with an intake that throws the MAF off...normally it seems most will go rich at idle but sometimes they will go dead lean and then cam out.
EGR line popped off the valve on the horizontal fitting (faces the passenger side along the firewall side of the intake/throttle body)
