Lost boost

Recently i installed some new mods, before i did i had 3in tbe, intake cone and ams tune at 23psi. I added ets fmic with pipes, jmf intake pipe, ported manifold and turbo and 02 dump. and im only getting 20psi?? whats the deal. i did a smoke test and no leaks?!?

turn the boost back up, you did add a bigger intercooler

The volume of air is different. You will loose boost pressure by adding that stuff for the volume the turbo has to fill.

You did a boost leak, or did you smoke test with 26psi??

I have an appointment the 21st of this month for the tune. I dont have a mbc yet, it was set thru the flash i guess.... thanks guys!

My buddy took my car to work( audi dealer) and did the smoke test but only 15psi he said, thats all it went up too...

yes a "boob" leak test is your best better for sure but as the others have stated you added more volume for the turbo to fill which equates to a boost pressure drop
