I was wondering can i get a full intercooler setup and not have to tune anything and run safely. Also diamiter will increase in the piping so wont i loose pressure or psi while spooling up? Any word of knowledge will be greatly appreciated? P.S i looking to put a full injen setup. Thanks

 

A tune is only going to help, but you don't NEED one. Not sure what you're asking on the 2nd part of your question, but the lower intercooler pipe will add power and you will spool quicker.

I don't know the mods on your car, but you probably don't need an aftermarket upper intercooler pipe, unless you're just wanting it for show.

Also, the stock intercooler is a pretty good match for the stock turbo... just something to think about.

 

You might want to wait for a few more additional mods and just do one tune for them. You will be fine with adding the intercooler and don't forget the licp.

 

Thanks guys appreciate that. I currently have a full exhaust and just a Filter. Also the guy gave me a new Hallman Manual boost controller which i have no interest in and just might sell.

 

i know the stock intercooler is great bc there's a thread on here with like 10 intercooler tests. And the Oem is pretty darn good for letting air flow through it. But i need one for looks because the bumper i have is not oem and is designed to show off the intercooler.
