Recalls?

Hey guys so i have been wondering i am the second owner of my 2005 evo 8. the car has 60,582 miles on it. i was just wondering were there any recalls that maybe i can go back and see if they were done? i saw in another thread that the clearcoat on the brake calipers and the wing were under warranty for certain years? anyway if there are or if anyone has any information let me know thanks!

After 5 years on the 9's you would be out of warranty for the calipers getting replaced

Czy Polski?

The only recall I found for the 05 was on the coolant hoses. I had a friend who got his clutch replaced under warranty around 18k miles. Still don't know exactly how he did that lol.

Warranties run out and/or expire, but recalls don't.

There was a recall on my '03 Evo 8. The label on the door post had the wrong gross vehicular weight and the dealer installed a new label. It runs much better now.

a recall is only done if there is a safety issue such as transfer case seal leak (dsm) or gas pedal getting stuck (toyola) not for paint chipping.

if you want to know ur cars history with recalls, if any, you can call a dealer and give them your vin they will check it for free.

The recalls mine had were the sticker that was mentioned above and the fan relay. I have an 03 and you have an 05, so it might have been fixed by your model year.
