Why do EVO owners keep their cars with such low mileage?

I have an 05 that just turned 13k its sits . Like most have said the ones with low miles are not their daily drivers. I have people ask me all the time why im not driving it. Rides like crap and the quatermaster is a pain in stop and go trafic. Now its at AMS putting more money into something i dont drive.

Bought mine with 33k on the clock. It has 65k 2 years later. It was my daily but not anyomore after this round of mods.
My wife just picked up a 08 STi with barely 9k on the clock.
Not driving your car everyday makes you appreciate it more and it also gives you something to look forward too on the weekends and you are less apt to mod it.
Everyday wear and tear sucks. i drove my brand new Integra Type R everyday and vowed to never do it again with my fun car.

I have an 05 with 43k had 36k when I bought it in Nov. 09. As most people have stated, it's not my only car. So I don't drive it all the time, mostly nights and weekends. I perfer to keep the milage low because I plan on keeping it for a long time and it keeps it in better shape, thus I store it in the winter. Plus if I ever do have to sell it, then it'll be worth more too.

I believe the consensous is the grind is different for everyone... I mean you have "garage queens" and folks that beat the **** out of their Evo's so they can't keep them on the street. Cat's that have other DD's and military folk who disappear a year at a time. People that live across the street from thier jobs and jokers who have 100+ mile a day commutes. It just is what it is. Me personally I didn't buy my Evo to NOT drive the hell out of it, and so I will continue to fix whatever I break, keep up with basic maintenance, upgrade and modify when I can and drive my car. Even with another car to drive (that I also plan to keep forever) my 03 VIII has 73K on the ODO and still feels as good as the day I drove it off the lot... NOOOO, Actually Way Better Now!!!

Surprised so many people don't drive their evos, whats the point of having it? To look at in a garage and say "look I have a low mile evo".
I guess the low milage just does't impress me, I would rather be happy every time I drive.
