I've honestly been torn between buying a brand new stock short block or going with a built motor. I'm have fairly high mileage as well and I also track my car, and I know the stock short block is very reliable. My friends stock motor lasted him about ~70 track days before it gave out.

wow thats amazing, my evo 8 has its second motor in it and the body has 44k, and i bought a slowboyracing stage 2 short block so if i want to i can slap a bigger turbo on and handle 600hp, but for now its stock turbo cuz these cars r spendy for a 21yr old lol i would go with a built motor, thats my .02
