the engine oil cost can easilly be fixed on this end

Not to be rude, but are you really saying you're going to get people Walmart Mobil 1 prices on Amsoil? That's $4-5/quart, depending on being reg/EP/HM.

The cost for me has been fairly similar between using Mobil 1 and Amsoil if I change oil every 3k with Mobil and every 6k with Amsoil. I like having to change less often.

I've been using Amsoil in the tranny for a while now and have absolutely no complaints. I feel it was a major step up from the BG synchroshift I was using prior (take that for what ever its worth).

I will be using Amsoil for all of my fluids when I service everything in the next couple thousand miles.

I run amsoil for all my fluids in my Evo. I am happy with it and I am a preferred customer so the prices arent bad at all! I wouldn't switch back to OEM and Mobil.

I've used it on all my cars for the past three years. The evo gets the full Amsoil treatment. All drivetrain parts. I ran 540hp on the stock motor for over a year. Daily drove it and raced it every chance I got. Never broke anything. Was it the Amsoil that kept it all together? I'm sure it had a lot to do with it. I will never use anything else. My .02

Also, saying 85% of the board uses Amsoil is a pretty bold claim that I know you can't back-up. Hyping your products is one thing, but making up "facts" is another...
^^Totally agree with both of these guys!!

If the pricing issue is so easy to fix then why is there such a markup on it to begin with? Price and availability are the two reasons I won't use it. Put a more competitive price on it and make it available in some regular stores and you probably would have 85% of Evo owners using it.

I ran the SSO on my stock evo for ~8k miles or was it 12k? i forgot. Anyways, i posted an oil analysis. The analysis compared my mileage to standard 3k miles on Mobil 1 and my numbers were very close if not good in some areas. The convenience is definitely a factor for me.

I use it in my Engine only atm, first oil report came out great with 3 track days and 4000 miles, mobil one looks to be no good after 1 track day.

while it is expensive, Its working for me..my engine is in good health and I don't have to do oil changes every track day.
