my compression test, thoughts/opinions?
Sorry to be the new guy here... but can we be clear on this? Because now I'm confused...
I'm not certain that it would or wouldn't affect the data you're receiving, but I do believe that the spark plugs are supposed to be out of all four cylinders (dont forget to label lol)...

Typically you take them all out. The result doesn't change, the compression test is per cylinder.
Did the OP add a small drop of oil to the 2nd cylinder after getting the low results? If so did the numbers increase?

Re-test dry. Cylinder that is off from rest add drop of oil, test again. If the numbers are higher then you have cylinder ring issues and may need a rebuild.
Have a shop do a leak down for you and take it from there.

Vince make sure the car is completly warmed up and take out all the spark plugs. U said you let it crank 5 times. I normally go to around 7-8. I have a new compression gauge so if you want to try it again let me know
