That restrictor is there for a reason people... Unless you are building a serious race car leave it there just my opinion...

its there to save your transmission/transfer case at the expense of your clutch, but it will burn the clutch (even if slightly) in situations where no damage would occur to your transmission or transfer case

FWIW, I've not removed my restrictor, and my last ACT clutch lasted 109k miles over 6 years. It would have lasted longer, but a spring broke, there was still clutch material left...
