Who here would like to see Vishnu vs DynoFlash in Sport Compact Car?

Shiv, do you plan to attend if such an event is held?
I agree that there should be a limit in how much money could be spent, what fuel is used, and what tires are run. This would allow the customers to be able to make the best decisions on what to buy. Afterall this is all about providing the customer w/ the best possible product in terms of perfomance and value. The problem w/ this is Al already has spent some serious coin on his car. So the event would have to be set up as an all out event--- unlimited---

BTW - did any of you guys hear about "apeaking softly and carrying a big stick?"" (I know its not me) - But - think of this - Shive is going to get his *** kicked this year at the shootout - it seems the RRE car is making over 500 whp and the Pruven Evo is a mad monster which defies description - - The Pruven evo is going to be so much faster than Shiv's that he will need R compounds and rockets to get within 10 cars
Anyway - I will be posting more about the OPEN Tuner Shootout in the next copule of weeks - it should be an intersting event - I knwo I will loose but it will be fun and we can learn something in the process
That is good but what happened to Al racing Shiv, door to door, man to man on a track?

That's an excellent idea. The very same car should be used by all tuners with inpartial observers to make sure that the first tuner does not inadvertently sabotage the car for the second guy.
The car could be base line dynoed before and after each tuning session to make sure everybody has the same material to work from. Then they could each tune the car using predetermined mods or methods to make sure that no undue advantage is used by one ort the other. That would show definitely whose methods are the best. Anytrhing else is just talk and BS.....

Sorry Al,
I forgot that you made runs the same night without nitrous. *(By the way, how come nitrous only helps .12 secs? )
All of you have different approaches. Why not have everyone with some reasonable fuel limitations, maybe even even supply the same 94 octane fuel to each competitor and require a stock turbo, and any add on mods or limit the amount of money that can be spent to something less than $5000. I just would like to see "tuner" comparisons rather than who has spent the most money. Anybody can build a bad car with an unlimited budget

In my NOS run - I was poised to get into the high 120's and a low 11.3 or 4 time when it started breaking up in 4th
I simply retuned it - pulled out the NOS bottles and did a conservative non nos pass at 24 psi to get the 11.623
After that I was thrown off the track
Hopefully as soon as the AEM ignition fix is made I will be back to the track to break some more records

I'll run a stock Miata if Al makes it a part of the rules.

Does any of this remind you guys of the Muhammad Ali boxing grudges that I remember from when I was a kid?
Well, this is what all competition is about, hopefully in the end, what is learned will benefit us all.
