it has 50 miles on it and all of those were with the spring spacers still in the springs....so...no opinion formed yet.

I don't recall stating that it was a "supercar", but i do recall stating that 95%+ people would never be able to tell the difference in the ACD settings (and I stand by that claim). but we don't have ACD anyway.... Driving on snow, damn near everyone is smart enough not to drive at 10/10's (or even close) or they will eventually end up in a ditch...which if you are racing a car for real, then you can afford it. A bunch of dreamers *****ing about gimicks usually doesn't impress me.

I have a hybrid civic that I hopefully plan to race so I doubt I will take this car to the track unless my civic breaks.....

Please provide where I called it a supercar (knowing that I have a cobra mustang that will crush this thing....plus I think my 914 (chevy smallblock instead of vw engine) will beat the evo(except from launch on both accounts).

EDIT - My response sounds a bit jerky.... sorry about that... i will blame it on the spring spacers which I need to go remove.

 

Got my car today from Boch Mitsu Norwood, MA for MSRP. I can't quite take delivery of the car nor can anyone else since there was a mixup in the delivery of the titles. Should be here late today or at the latest tomorrow. I took a pic as it was going in for PDI, enjoy.

Not quite, although I wish it was. That was my car as it was going in for inspection. I will have more pics when I take delivery and get it home.

Just got back from taking delivery on a white EVO 8 w/o sunroof. The Recaro's actually don't fit as snug as my Talon's leather seats but are very comfy. The suspension and handling is simply superior to anything I have driven. I will follow the breakin carefully(on 94 oct) and then will let fellow DSMer's know how she compares to my modded TSI Talon relative to performance. Should be fun!

Hi,

The same thing happen to me. I wanted a small spoiler with out sunroof and thought that was coming. However, the dealer call me Monday and said my white one had a CF and sunroof and would be another 2 weeks. I cancelled the order and told them to return my deposit.

D'Ambrasio had a white one w/o sunroof which I bought. I will tell you that the car is hoot to drive. I don't have enough experience with the car to provide any detailed feedback yet, but that will occur shortly.

I'm in the same shoes as Bill, I bought my evo last wednesday, but the titles aren't here as of Sat afternoon!! Took my baby out for a spin, Bill, sorry but I dented you door backing out, sorry.......hahahaha I'm kidding!! , my car was parked right next to the montero in your pic. Anyway, all I got say is boch better get the title on monday! the only thing worse than wait for the evo is thst its here but you can't drive it!!
