Do you think they read this forum and know about the boycott?
I was wondering the same thing. Dealers around here can't sell them if they're marked up. There have been several dealers sitting on the Evo(s) they have because they won't budge any off more than $2000 or so over

Yesterday was the last day of the month.

That dealership is probably just one car (or few cars) away from hitting their target.

There were these 2 guys in So California who were pretty cool about working with the markup price. Theyre at Thousand Oaks Mitsubishi. They have 3 in stock...white, silver, and blue, w/ another silver and black coming in the next couple of days. If any of you are serious, give em a call. All the Evos come with Air Dams, Rear Strut Brace, Sports Meter Kit, Brake Air Guides, Shift Knob, Hand Brake, and Scuff Plates....$36K...but theyre willing to work with serious buyers on the price. Theyre ## is (805) 497-4515...ask for SEAN or KEVIN only....later...

And trying to just grab a deal from someone else. Chances are, same deal doesn't apply today.

Sorry guys for late reply, I finally got it yesterday. It was most frustrating buying experience!!! But, I managed to bring the price down more than $1000! I think I am going to buy myself .

During last 8 days, total of 6 walk offs, Numerous calls from the salesman, going to other dealers, etc..... The work has paid off.

Low and behold, the dealer is one of the boycott dealers in the forum, Darcars Mitsu at Silver Spring, MD. They have a black (w/ sunroof) in stock and said they're willing to deal. Let me know if anybody needs help dealing with them. I kind of like that people (ripping off who's trying to rip me off).

well just to let everyone know the las vegas dealerships still have the 6 that they got. i think they are asking about 3k over msrp but they have been sitting and they may want to deal. between the 2 dealerships here in town i think there is a total of 12 evo's and the salesman say that there has been much roar about them. to bad i can't afford one otherwwise i would be whelling and dealling

Invoice is higher than that. I saw the invoice sheet when I bought my car. It was 28. The moonroof and spolier are "dealrr options". Spolier is like 700 and the moonroof is like 600.

In about 6-8 months 1000 below MSRP will be standard, in about 16 months they'll be going for around invoice.
