Just my experience...
i've seen auto show cars with leather seats that look like they're 4 yrs old. Of course a million people sit in them. And the Evo's side bolsters are high, so even though it's not leather, check to see how soft they have gotten. I wouldnt even buy a car that was on the showroom floor. The red one at the dealership I bought from had some MAJOR scratches on the door sill, down to the metal. Someone with nails in their shoe must have scratched it. I've seen auto show cars with broken indicator stalks, scratched gauge covers, you name it. I saw a kid go in a car once and try EVERY button in it twice, open every cubby hole door, etc. I'd be worried the car would rattle and squeak from being 'loosened up.' I'd go to that auto show every day and push people away from the car and scream "GET AWAY, IT'S MIIIIINE!!" Then pull your hair while you run around the car with spittle coming out of the corner of your mouth.. wait. I do that now anyway..

Red will turned pink if u don't wax them often.
u should've gotten white or silver.

getting an evo: but what color?

sup fellas, i have been a long time veiwer but just regestered now. well i'm going to get a new evo but i am torn between colors. i have other cars but my favorite is my toyota supra. i love my ride but i do need a daily driver to have fun with and mod out. no graphics or interior stuff. all about the engine, i want it to go fast on track and 1/4, i know a big thing is that the supra is fast on the 1/4 mile and the evo on the track can take a supra but i own a supra already and i want to have fun on the track-evo. but i would like to have my evo go 10's or even 9's on the quarter mile.

it can be done if nissan can make a 2.6 liter skyline go fast, an evo with less weight can do it also. it takes money to do this believe me, owning a supra means you can't just go to autozone and buy parts for it. i have a big project ahead and maybe even start a club with only the top hp's evo's website, like how supra's have to4r.com. this is a top notch group of guys. and i would like to see this come to the evo to get respect as far as horsepower and customizations.

but before all this i want an evo by this weekend but i can't decied on a color. i like the black-for a nice wicked look, the red-is like saying you better be ready for this, or the white- is like a pro-hitman i know i can take you i'll just wait for the right time.

i might get it today but evo's owners insight is all ways a welcome.
thanx guys- o did i meantion this is my first post, yup a noobie here but to imports a veteran.

ps. i have 3 dealers right now willing to give me 100bucks below invoice.

well i drove in told them about the car and didn't give them a chance to try and blow smoke and told them that i wasn't going to pay over 29k for it. and i wanted at msrp price. ofcourse they wanted to charge me 2k over but i stuck to my guns and said msrp, they said 29k and some change and i was like," if i pay 29k they better throw in a turbo timer 'cause they are not the one's that have to wait five minutes to park the car and cool down when they get out". also brought up that tires are going to go out fast and that ever dealer around is offer free tires for life but none of them are doing deals on evo tires. my turn to blow smoke up their a**.
ya, i don''t like to play around. i want what i want and get it at a price i want. plus i need to lose some weight 'cause i felt a little tite in the evo. 300lbs mainly muscle
ya'll do the same. get it at invoice and stick by your guns. no retreat no surrender

right, every dealer has an invoice for around $26k to $26,500 they automaticly bump it 1,500 for being on it's lot which brings it to 27 or 27,500. then they split the stocking fee, now most dealers charge 2k for this which is at 29,500 and then they charge dealers invoice which can range from 30k on up. now remember the msrp is always 28,852 so f*** there stocking fee 'cause they will put the rest of thier stocking fee on the purchase order which means that's how much the salesman will get that for- unstocking the car on the lot. bonus for them and you don''t get any KY jelly for this either.
and that 5k over invoice or* market value, if you pay that you just gave the salesman and sales manager a nice big bonus for that sale. stick to the msrp if you get the 6 disc changer don't pay over $542, so add that to the msrp. one dealer where am leading to getting my evo had the correct msrp and salesman said that is thier invoice price also* big mustake. now i can eat you up of that msrp. stick by your guns fellas, and don't let them talk about what's on the car, talk about what's missing* turbo timer is a good one. my 2 cents

My two favorite colors on an evo are black and white, especialy when you compliment them with some nice gold wheels.
