Just got, buying, reviewing, thinking about a new Evo [Ultra Hyper Mega MERGE]
I love my Tarmac Evo too! I was going to do a light tint on mine, I think there were some pics of a Tarmac Evo with 5% in this forum last week...looked damn sweet too
Now if only 600 miles would get here... 492 and counting...

Congrats!
As for tint, I have 28% and am happy with it. Never liked darker, having to roll down the windows at night to make a turn is annoying.
Heh... how about EVO RULZ ? Or EVO PWNZ or even EVO VIII
And 600 miles is what
says, little longer than most due to the use of synthetic oil from the start. I normally like a 300-500 break-in with normal oil for most engines I have built, but I am not second guessing the manufacturer.

I'm near 35 and Western Center so we are like neighbors. I see you bought from Huggins. Did they make you take the marked up accessories package and Lo-Jac? They told me they wouldn't sell them without all that stuff.
I have 15% all around right now. It's a strange number but someone had it so whatever. I will stay with 15% because it's not to dark ad at night you can not see through it like 20% which I had before.
ru4real, it had less than 10 miles on mine.
Big_Tex, perhaps we should meet up somewhere so you can check out my car. Yes I had to get the accessories, but I substituted some of the parts for the tint and LoJack.

Hey, I think this is my first actual post on this board even though I registered way back in the day.
I'm over in Lawrence and I just want to say congrats on the new ride! I hope to be posting the same thing as you in the next 6 months or so if I can get a little more money saved up and sell my A4. Enjoy the ride!

1) I`m going to get my windows tinted tommorow ..I`m leaning towards smoke 20% . My old 300ZX had 5% allover and it looked badass..was a pain to look through it in the beginning but got used to it later on. Any opinions on it (20% or 5%)
p.s : also never got pulled over in two and a half years when i had my Z for having such dark tint (plus my Z was yellow
)
2) Guyz i need a personalized tag..I`m sure there has been a few posts about personalized tags but plz give me opinions
3) Is 500-600 miles really enough miles to break in the car right?
Still cant bieleve there is a Evo
in my garage...hell i think i`m gona sleep
in it tonite and drool
all over it

If you are used to 5%, then go with it ... because nothing looks as good with black! If you can't go back to 5%, then try not to go lighter than 20%. Here are the pics of my evo with 5% solagaurd ... looks even better now that I installed my window deflectors ... more updated pics in the works,

Oh my God, I finally got my long-awaited Lancer Evolution this morning, got up at 7 and headed to the dealership, where I picked up this lovely Blue By You Lancer Evolution. It is so fast, especially when the boost kicks in at 3500rpm. It handles like a dream, with its stiff suspension and very MINIMAL body roll. Steering is damn responsive, thanks to its 2.1 lock to lock steering. The brakes have incredible stopping distance, thanks to the huge Brembo brakes it has. The seats are so comfortable and grip you so well, thanks in part with the Recaro seats. I am totally satisfied with this vehicle and it feels so good to pay for your car with your own money and sweat. Its truly a great feeling.
I was going to take some pics of my car in the driveway, but I had to go to work and because of the hailstorm, I couldn't been able to take it out for a spin at night.
I will get some more pics of my car in my driveway ASAP, as soon as I get my lazy *** to get the pics uploaded
