I frequantly drive my friends '00 GSR.. its an integra for those non honda lovers.. The Clutch seems to be a lot more harder.. But the video said it was normal.. The thing that seems stiff is the stick.. I can't move it left to right as i can in other cars..

Glad you liked that one.

Please be careful with your new toy. I'm not calling you a rookie or a bad driver, but it's safe to say that the Evo is a much different experience as far as driving goes. And that just isn't because of the speed you can go. The handling looks to be out of this world, and that is both a good and a bad thing. In the case of the rolled car, unfortunately a bad thing, but a good example for others to see and take note of.

Just because you are 21 doesn't mean you don't deserve a fair price for a new car, never forget that they are working for YOU, NOT the other way around! YOU are the one paying THEM! You can always walk away.

That said, you are one lucky 21 year old dude! Enjoy it and don't loose control of it.

Did you deal it down to $2300 markup? I'm wondering if I could fight and get one at MSRP there.....

Congrats, man!!!
***Follow the well-meant advice***
This car is POWERFUL. We already have two accidents in EVO's reported.
If anyone on this board knows of a good and affordable performance driving school, please post it for the benefit of TaiwanEvo and others that think they may want to attend.
The EVO is the most fun to drive when you actually know how to drive it (then again, that's true for any car...)

I'm perhaps the youngest Evo owner here, since I'm 18 and also getting mine at MSRP. And no I am paying for it out of my own pocket :-D

Wow...how are you guys affording cars like this at such a young age. I'm working my *** off, pretty much every minute I'm not in class, and I can't even afford a cheap used car. Are you guys taking out loans or are you able to pay for the whole car up front?

Same here....i'm 21 and i'm paying for it all myself. $13K cash, $20K via loan. I simply cant afford more than MSRP + tax/lic!! I only applied for a $20K loan because I wanted to force myself not to buy over MSRP by even $1K. I can only give $13 - $14K down after I sell my car. That way, salesmen cant try to muscle me in. I just simply tell them I dont have enough money to make more than $33K out the door. So, i'm waiting....

Thats a really smart tatic coolguy...I really hope to hear that you find an Evo in So Cal for MSRP soon. You def. have been very active on this forum and useful, esp. with the boycott list. It sucks that us So Calers get ripped...but such is life. I'm sure in the comming months we will beable to find some for MSRP.

Ya Dealers are already starting to drop prices madly. I would give it a couple more weeks than haggle the shiet out of them, because most will take it if they have the car sitting thier for a couple weeks. Hopefully the so cal evo's can get together possibly with the lancer guys or something..
