Thanks for the write up Obsolete. Owning a turbo car before I'll be ready for the Evo. As for the cool down period it all depends on how hard you push it. For normal driving and depending if you get stopped at a light for a few minutes let it cool for like a minute. If you were at a light for a long time and just parked shortly after I did about 30 - 45 secs. Hard driving and racing like we will all be doing let it stand for a good 2 minutes to 2.5 min depending on length of beating. I can't stress enough how handy a turbo timer is if you plan to drive hard.

When you pick up your EVO, you watch this video about the car and the pit pass..

After you watch the video, you could go out and sell one for cripes sake..
Talks about the specs, etc.

Pit Pass I bought already before taking delivery so I passed on that video..

Car is the ****!!

I took some video today but the car was just sitting still. Tomorrow I will get some vid of the car in action. Freekin rainin over here. Took the Evo out in it and it loved it. The Z06 would be all over the place.

It is a maintainence contract offered by

. Basically, they cover the oil changes/tire rotations throughout your warranty at a reduced cost and that can be rolled into your financing. It's well worth it, as how if you have any warranty issues come up, you'll want that paper trail of maintainence done to your car.

Wow, I never realized it but your right.
Every Lube, oil and filter plus tire rotations are done till 45,000 miles INCLUDING the 45k.

I got the better pass(9) services...

I guess it doesnt cover the Maintenance intervals though. (majors)

Oh well. It still is woth it to get.

Got my New EVO8

Bought my new Silver Evo8 yesterday. First in San Antonio. I think i saw some in here from Houston. Let me know if you guys ever have an EVO get together. Tried posting pictures but getting an error message.
Any suggestions on posting 1024x768 picture that's larger than 100 kb's? I don't have a photo editor to reduce size.
