Yeah I understand what you meant now. My mistake.
i dont know......my deal was kind of a package deal with Adam. I'm sure he'll sell at least MSRP though. He's the fleet manager. He told me that he sells the evo for MSRP while the rest of the sales guys on the floor tag on a 10K mark-up. You should call Adam. I posted the number on page one of this thread. Make sure you tell him Rob that bought the black one sent you. Tell him you'd like the same deal I got. It would be better if you had a friend that wanted to buy one too. Then you could just tell him you want some type of package deal for under MSRP. He's really great to work with....no games or gimmicks. He doesnt call you all the time to bug you either. They have evos' coming on the first week of june....you may want to call him to see what's on the way.
Good luck!
Rob
EDIT: Here's the number:
Adam Wetzel @ Miller Mitsubishi

Yep....sold it. Had to deliver it to Victorville, CA.......3 hour drive through desert and 95 degree weather. Stuck in traffic with people heading to Las Vegas.............BUT it was worth it! When I got home I started shopping!!
I too am loving my first moments on my Evo. It is all that I expected and more. I went for a drive with my roommate last night after he got into town (he drives an almost stock WRX) and he was very impressed with the car....
my buddy with the Z06 instantly brought up how much the Evo seems to handle like his 95 M3, but with higher limits - which is a huge thing, as both of us are huge fans of the E30 & E36 M3s.

That's funny trigeek - my buddy is the same way. He just replaced his fully built E30 with an E36, but loves driving my Evo. He said (and my kidneys agree) it handles with the same confidence as his E30, but is much more tolerable for day-to-day driving.
Coolguy - which dealership are you going to use for maintenance? I use Tuttle Click at the bottom of the hill, but I'm curious what your thoughts are.

I didnt get a maintenance contract but for warranty i'm going to use Tuttle-Click as well. Tustin doesnt like me too much.....they kicked me out for offering 500 under MSRP. I dont feel to good about having my evo serviced by the enemy.

I'm particularly interested to know how "mod friendly" any of the dealers in O.C. would be. When I was looking at the WRX/STi, the Lake Forest Subaru dealer seemed as though they would be real friendly to mods ( ie not reject warranty claims because of mods ). But the Mitsu delaers ??
Anybody in O.C. know ?
At the risk of provoking a thread relocation...
I already talked to John in service at Tuttle Click. I have seen quite a few modded eclipses run through there, and he has confirmed that they will not deny warranty claims unless the mod specifically impacts the faulty component. Sounds fair to me - If I squeeze a 50 shot of NOS and blow my head, that shouldn't be a warranty repair.
I also saw a red Evo run through the service department with 1500 miles and a fried clutch. John said they would try to get it warranteed which seemed more than generous to me.
Just be sure NOT to have them wash the car. The detailing company they subcontract the work out to scratched it up pretty bad.
