Luxury is nice but I want performance more. I know the suspension is much stiffer than that of the RSX but on a stiffness scale of 1-10, 1 being smooth and 10 being horrible how would you say the EVO rated against the RSX?

Hehehe, so basically it's like riding in a lowered car? I think I could live with that.

I actually kept my type-s. It was lowered and I am running 18 inch wheels so the evo actually has a better ride.

I'm in Tampa, well Lutz actually. It would be pretty cool if I could afford to keep my RSX also but I would need a much better job!

FINALLY i got an evo...

Finally i traded in my oz for an evo at thousand oaks mitsu. very nice and i got some good mods, like an insurment bezzle, sport meter kit. rear strut brace, brake air guides, carbon hand brake, sikk rates (that say lancer evo), and some wheel locks. very nice lightning yellow evo, 1000's of times better than an oz. Oh my dear god i love it!!!!! i live in az but bought it in cali cuz i was desperate and i was over here for the weekend. i had a yellow oz and now i got a yellow EVO! jeez im so happy thanks for checkin it out

Congrats on your purchase! Feels good to be in a real performance car doesn't it.

I just did. I asked Jojo some questions and his answers gave me the go ahead. The only thing I thought was different about the Acura was the wonderfully light shifter and clutch. But that is possible because you do have such low torque down low. The EVO is a beast and looks the part. The car feels solid and I think the interior actually has a very solid reinforced feel to it. The only other car I remember having this type of feel was an Audi A4. I suppose they have the make it that way to handle the increased rigidity of the chassis.

Anyways, if you can afford it....you will not regret it.

Well it's sounding more and more tempting by every reply! It will probably be around 6 months or so before I can get one though. Most of my summer is gonna be spent out of state for training (I'm in the military). However, on the up side, it will be starting to cool off when I return. Hehehe....

I have no regrets on getting the EVO. As long as you can pay for it why not go for it

I'm in the same boat as you. Its probobly going to be several months for me as I have to wait for a garage to become available in my apartment complex. There is no way I'd ever leave it outside here!!!
