It is trickier in the Evo than it was in my S2000, but not impossible to do. Rev matching is definately easier in the S2000 as well. I think it had a much more linear throttle feel to it.

Yup, same with my RX-8... thats the difference with a naturally aspirated car. You have a very linear (and smaller) blip required to match the revs.

It was a little awkward at first but now it's second nature.

When the brake system is cool and the brake pedal is high, I brake with the ball of my foot and use the middle of the side of my foot on the gas.

As the brake system heats up and brake travel increases, It gets more difficult and i have to brake with the side of my heel.
