shaking around 80mph
So i was driving yesterday on the parkway, i had 3 people in the car ( including myself), and i was drivin around 80-85mph. The car randomly started shaking when i steped on the gas peddal. So i took my foot off the gas quickly, then i was drivin mabey 1/4 mile from when it first happened it happened agian so. So this time i steped on the gas when it began to shake and it felt like i was bogging out?! My buddy in the back seat said he felt it rumbling or shaking under him, anyone have a idea of what the problem is. i also have a idle problem i think the IAC is bad but i dont figure that would cause this problem, 03 evo 8

What gear were you in? Is the problem only when you're on the gas, or in general? Did it feel like it was associated with a certain component of the vehicle? Motor, trans, brakes, wheels, tires?
I was in 5th gear, probaly 4-4500 rpms, and it would start the shake when i was on the throddle, it did it once just driving at 80 , thats when i tried giving it more gas . I could feel the car just wanting to run but it was sputtering. i feel its somthing to do wih the suspension it1s on -3inch springs and the tires are 9.5 wide i need a alignment* it pulls hard when i take my hamds of the wheels. Plus my friend said he felt the back wheels shaking?
But on another hand the car dosn't shake when i get on it from 0-70 or w/e. I was just keepin up with traffic and it felt like it was dieing, iguess. So it was just like the car wasn't getting whst it needed to accelerate

Ill look into it, but ive hit 120 with no shaking and it was running fine, which is confusing me about the shaking being suspension related , when i gave the car more gas when shaking it shook harder and did not go faster or slower stayed at the same speed.
If it is a p0300 code it is easy to turn off through ECU flash. If you don't have a cable any tuner on this forum should be able to do it for you.
The P0300 causes the car to go into sort of a limp mode. I have had mine turned off for years with no issues. I used to get the stutter constantly in the highway.
