no sure what this is...

So the other night my car did something its never done before for starters its an 06 Evo with an intake and TBE no its not tuned yet i plan on it soon and im thinking thats why it happen but around somewhere in between 5 and 6k rpm it hits some type of limiter/idk what you would call it and it sound horrible and feels even worse not sure exactly much more cause im not going to try and duplicate the problem anyone have an idea?

thats what i started to think too maybe it was some missfire? or something along those lines but like i said im not sure... ill give everything a look over

Definitely sounds like fuel/boost cut. You need a tune but in the mean time check your spark plugs and make sure you don't have any boost leaks
