Exclamation Power windows, power locks not working

I was wondering if anybody else had this problem? My power windows, power locks do not work and when I open my truck or gas-tank the open door symbol doesn't pop up on my dashboard. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas?

Also, does anybody have a good reference I can check out to determine which fuses are potentially blown? I currently left my manual back home in NJ but i'm down in GA and don't have it available for quick reference.

Thanks

There's a fuse under the hood. It's one of the big ones can't remember the exact number or position...but that's the one you're looking for.

Ok so I replaced the fuse and everything worked for about 1 hr. After that the windows and power-locks stopped working and it looks like I have the same issue.

Any ideas guys?

If it blows the fuse it more than likely is a short. I'd guess a wire with cracked insulation is touching metal. So, where do the wires bend - at the door hinges. And, the door that gets used the most is the driver's.

Barney B thanks for the info. I will check it out tomorrow and hopefully get it resolved.
