Use the brake booster line or any line that leads directly into the intake mani.

 

BOV is a nice easy line to use.

 

Bov line isn't really a good line to use though. You want to use a line that has a lot of vacume going into the intake mani.

 

i used the bov line :/ hahaha im going to re do the test again tho i didnt use the brake booster line becuase using a big line is bad isnt it?

 

the size of the line dosent matter, you just need to watch out how much fluid you suck up at once. To much and you can stall the car. I put 3/4 fluid into the gas tank and im going to put the rest in the brake booster tomorrow and see how my performance is.

 

I ran just a little under a full bottle into my gas about 2-3 days ago when I saw this thread, and seen everyone talking positive about it...I forgot that I used it lol, until I was Driving to work today I was thinking to myself " she's runnin real smooth lately " then I remembered the Sea Foam! It defiantly did its job. If your doing fluid maintenance , might as well spend $9 and run it through your car. I'm going to use it every oil change now!!!

 

Just ran 1/2 the can in the gas tank andput 1/3 in the intake the other day. curious about results with people putting it in their oil? i have about 1/3 or a little less left does this actually help? if so how long should you run it in the oil before an oil change?

Can this be used in the tranny? Ill be doing a flush soon..

 

Did it to my specv, friends integra and nx. Worked great but I'm a little nervous to do it to the Evo. Why should I be nervous?

 

you shouldent, its not harmful for almost any car engine.

I've heard you need to do an oil change fairly soon after using this in the intake. Apparently it thins out the oil a bit and could lead to trouble. I have no data to back this up, but it makes sense to me. I used it in the intake and gas tank. After that tank was used up I did my oil change. I just planned it out 250 miles before my oil change.

 

woah that's a great increase in fuel economy, never thought these things were that effective.

 

Unless there are pills or something in the BOV line I'm not aware of, any line to the intake manifold is the same amount of vacuum. The size of the line will just determine how fast you suck it in. I can say from experience the BOV line sucks nice and hard

Larger lines can actually be harder to use because it's harder to keep the car running with them disconnected since they are larger vacuum leaks. It'll work fine though, you might just have to blip the throttle cable to keep it going.
