Sea Foam

I drive my Evo 8 100 miles a day,4 days a week and normally full up every 2 days. I probably get about 220 to the tank. Which I know is bad but I start a 4.00am and leave right before the traffic starts so I’m always in a rush. I tried a bottle of Sea Foam in a half a tank of gas. At a 1/4 of a tank I started feeling better throttle response. I let the gas light come on and filled up. Now I clearly get 100 miles more to the tank. Not bad for $8.00. Just thought I would share.

Was considering Sea Foaming my car before my 60k mile service since the dealer is putting in fresh plugs and oil anyway.

I've heard some people also run it in their oil right before an oil change. Any input on that?

I would say the only place that's worth treating is pouring into a vacuum line. IF you run tier 1 gas and change your oil when you're supposed to, your engine and fuel system should be relatively clean.

I use it in the fuel tank about every oil change on my car, keeps the e85 gunk build up off my injectors.

I've used it (1/2 can) on a vacuum line to find a exhaust leak, then the other half in the tank. I couldn't tell a difference, but I found the leak Could be because I run E85 and my fuel system is clean already.

YES!! This is what I like to hear, I'm just under 1/4 tank and will be going to get a can today after my presentation. Thank you for sharing OP (I get roughly 245 per tank btw blah)

Ran an entire can in the vacuum line + half a can in a friends speed3 100 miles before an oil change. The exception is that this car does get a **** ton of mileage since she delivers pizzas. Had to add some more oil to thicken up the mix but it ran like a champ until she changed the oil.

Can't comment on running it in an EVO.

Soo all you do is buy the see foam, and pour it right into the gas tank? I might have to try this, been getting pretty bad mileage recently.

You can buy it in liquid or aeresol. Using the aeresol is the easiest way to feed the vacuum line and liquid for the gas tank or oil.
