Upgrade cams or port intake/exhaust manifolds?

Im running E85 in my Evo 9 MR DD pushing about 430hp on a BBK Full. I want a little more power and I'm at the point where any little gains will cost a few hundred dollars. Thus should I upgrade the cams (and if so which company and degree?) or should I port the intake/exhaust manifolds? Porting the manis can give me more than 40hp but only on the mid-high side. People say you should wait until you're ready, whatever that means. Upgrading the cam would improve low-mid end as well as high, right?

I know that either mod would change the way the car sounds. Cams give that racecar sound while porting manis give a deeper tune. I thank you in advance for your input.

I have all the above and my car doesn't sound like a racecar at all sounds stock and that is with GSC S2 cams. Cams would help with the mid and high yes down low not so much, porting would help quite a bit with the setup for sure and mine as well put a 65mm tb in there as well.

Cosworth cams. Porting is mean though!

I'd do the porting first since you'll get nice power gains, but no ill-effect on drivability which cams will have.
