If your clutch was slipping RPM would quickly rise but the car would not accelerate.

If you're sputtering under boost I would always check the spark plugs first, might be time to change them.

its not your clutch, clutch wont make u sputter. like someone above posted, your rpms will fly up but you wont go anywhere, that and the smell of burnt clutch are two obvious signs. Yours if it sputters, could either be a bad spark plug, coil boot/spark plug wire. Or possibly a boost leak. look around the intake manifold for a loose vacuum line, usually those issues will cause sputtering.
good luck

its not the clutch, i swapped the spark plugs, i put in a bunch of fuel injector cleaner in, i checked the lines and manifold and its still has rev issues... not as much as before but still there... if it was a boost leak wouldnt i feel that when driving slow?... the car drives perfectly fine until i punch it... then in the higher rpms it just doesnt want to POP!... it kinda just sputters then i shift gears....
