is the 95 eclipse 7bolt gst 4g63 the same as the evo 8???
first of ive searched and searched and couldnt find an answer.SORRY FOR THE NOOB QUESTION. i wanted to know if the 95 eclipse gst 4g63 the same as the evo 8??? i wanted to know because i have a friend with a 4g63 from the 95 eclipse 7 bolt with a spare and i wanted to see if it was the same or at laest the crank.....so IS the cranks the same also?? any help ... thanks

the block are backwards and cant be used, but the aftermarket crank, rods, pistons etc... will work in both the dsm 7 bolt and the evo motor. The stock evo parts are better then the stock dsm parts..
