its your coils! trust me! haha. go buy the 20 bucks leak down test and i gaurentee you its the coils. i wouldve just paid a tow truck to tow my car for 50 miles then have to deal with this **** again haha. just get some sparktech. best decision you will make.

 

i have heard that wrapping coils in electrical tape actually can sometimes fix a issue but im sure you can find some used coils somewhere. good luck!

 

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I am just letting everyone involved (and for people in the future with this problem) know that I fixed the issue and that it was indeed the coils/wires. Not sure if it was just the coils or just the wires, but I found a used set and replaced them, and the car is running very strong and healthy now.

I would change your wires next if the problem hasn't been resolved!! This happened to me last year so I changed my Plugs and wires and the problem went away. unless you know what the problem is for sure either take it to a shop or start with the cheapest parts first!

 

Change plugs and wires, If that doesn't work check out your injectors, they may need to be cleaned or replaced. If its not that is your boost still the same as it was when your car was in good working order?

Figures! Now I just started having that problem today, I haven't even touched the car but noticed on some starts and accel to WOT it doesn's sputter, then on some other with AC on, it's sputtering on WOT.

Time to do some tests on mine!
