$700 for tuning is ridiculous.
I converted mine last winter, showed up 30 minutes before the tune and did the injector swap and tank drain immediately before my appointment in the back of the shop. Tuner had a base map ready, we threw 5 gallons in and then I drove it around for a bit on the base map, filled up, came back, and she went on the dyno. $275 later I was out the door.

ok so who out here in california can do this type of work at a reasonable price????
is there such a shop!???
if you're paying someone to do EVERYTHING, the price is understandable. it takes time to do all that stuff and time is money.
but just like others have said, you can save yourself a lot of money by doing most of the work yourself and just show up for the tune which shouldn't be more than $400.
any sort of boost control is acceptable.

The price seems pretty good, I don't understand the difference in price for the regular tuning and then the e85 tuning, figured they would be a little lower. I know you have to pretty much retune the entire car for it, should ask for a little better price. Besides that seems good.
