So I am doing my Build and got the engine out the car with the trans but for some reason I can the trans to slide out. We removed the bellhousng bolts and nothing! We have been trying to pry it apart and it comes about 1" apart but can't seem to detach it..like something is stuck on the shaft...

 

did you released the throw out bearing all the way? my tob got stock to the snap ring and it was a pain to remove

 

I took off the slave cylinder so there should be no pressure on it right? Unless there's suppose to be something else removed

Did you take apart the trans? Lol I was tempted to do that!

 

dont do that LOL! to make the long story short , the snap ring broke and was not letting go of the TOB so the clutch was stuck .
i had to unbolt the flywheel from the motor which i dont recommend but i had no other choice
