Previous tune??

Hey all, I need you're guyses help figuring something out. I've had my evo 8 rs for about a year now and have noticed that compared to other stock evo's it acts different, I mean it 2 steps at 8k rpms and is alot more rapid than a stock evo when it hits the limiter. It originally came from the states and I bought it from a dealership who does not know the history of the car. I just would love to know if it had a previous tune done or not. Is there any way if figuring this out by myself? I mean judging fromthe way it acts it seems that it does but I'm just not sure. Again I'd really love to know! Thanks.

All you need is a tactrix cable and ECUFlash, and then you should be able to download the ROM and compare it to stock.

8000 RPM sounds more like a rev limiter and not a 2-step.

Ah that's a bit far for me lol, I'm in Gatineau, QC. When you have a cable and ecuflash send me a pm if you want and I'll help you out.

Yeah most my friends say, man you're evo 2 steps like a beast! And I just look at the rpm gauge as it's hitting the redline

I set my 2 step at 5800. 8k sounds a little hard on stuff lol, I wouldn't launch it off the re limiter.
