450hp on evo8 engine

I have a LHD converted evolition4 with evo8 engine.

GSR version with AYC so top limit of tuning is 500hp when AYC's dif start to brake

To the moment car has evo8 engine, evo8 turbo, rebuilt intake pipes with aftermarket IC, removed A/C, removed EGR, HKS camshafts, 3" starting with elbow without cats, custom elbow, manifold is stock. so more or less stock

currently one of my piston is damaged. the head gasket was pressed out and watercooling fluid came in one of the cylinder. so engine is about to be rebuilt.

I am thinking about getting up to 400-450hp.

At the moment I am looking to choose parts for rebuilt.

parts
Pistons - most likely I will buy Wiseco.
Rods? eagle? please advice
fuel pump - aeromotive
injectors? what do i need to get 450hp? 760cc? brand? please advice. PTE?

ecu
Ok, i will have to remap the car. some people say it's possible to remap stock ECU unlike the impreza's ecu. is that right?

turbo
what should i think about looking for those 450hp? will evo8 ball bearing stock turbo be able to produce that much? or should think about upgrade?

something else
what else should i think about?

Thank you

you can fit an map a evo 5 or 6 ecu (plugs straight in) or 7 and 8 (4 plug version needs some wiring mods)

i wouldn't recommend eagle rods for anything over 500HP, they can get you close but it depends on how long you want them to last

http://highboostforum.com/forum/show...out-eagle-rods

just some evidence to support my argument

I would recommend MaPerformance for just about everything. They have proven themselves and are really a great brand. Their website is MAPerformance.com if you call them, they can advise you in the right direction

I wouldn't go over 500hp. final point of the project is 500hp. after this number evo needs lsd instead of ayc, but i like how evo corners exactly with ayc.

So for me I see right now 3 steps:
1. rebuild the engine - pistons, rods, injectors, metal gasket (btw cometic or cosworth?) and fuel pump + ecu from evo 5-6. will be running on stock evo8mr turbo. I have just 500km ago restored that turbo.
2. will be doing suspension - tein coilovers, powerflex and normal wheels
3. exchaust manifold + turbo (probably gt3071r or gt3076r, but this like in half year)

do i miss something? btw do i have to replace cam gears? I have currently stock gears but camshafts are wicked hks.

There are no need to use GT3071R or GT3076R which is old school in EVO world
Just use FP White 71HTA or CBRD BBK or MAP EF2 or HKS GT II 7460R
Either one of these turbo will give you 450hp with minimal lag
