driver side window loose
driver side window loose
Okay so I've had this minor issue for a while now, whenever i roll up my driver window, about half way up the window starts to "dip" forward and a gap forms between the window and the part of the window near the driver B pillar. Usually I won't just grab the tip and push it back into the groove and it slides right now.
I opened my door problem today thinking it was a clip or something but in fact the mechanism that rides the track up and down is slightly loose and I guess as the window rolls up, the weight of the window causes the device to lean forward.
How can I remedy this. I'm going to take pictures now.

Pop the door panel off, there are two points of contact where the window bolts to the regulator. Tighten those or check to make sure they are secure. Also check the regulator and the regulator rails where the window slides up and down, there are bolts on all of them. Make sure they are tight and let us know.
I just took it all apart. The bolts that were holding the window to the slide were tight and the bolts holding the slide to the door were tight as well.
There are no bolts holding the actual slide on to the rail. There are plastic clips that are holding it on. For starters mine weren't clipped on right, so I clipped them on, but it seems that the plastic has become a little too soft and moveable to hold the window securely.
I put it all back together for now and admitted defeat, I might be able to rig up some kind of fastener that will wrap around the slide, pinching it tight and not touch the slide. Other than that I might have to try and find a replacement.
