Evo IX MR Factory Front Lip Help

How is the front lip mounted to the bottom of the front bumper on the Evo IX MR's? The driverside corner came undone and i dont see how its supposed to be held on. Is it just adhesive?

It's held on by a bunch of small tabs, if they break you just have to glue them. You could also used double sided tape to get it to hold, that or super glue! Here's a thread I found that had some ideas on what to do about the MR lips: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...lling-off.html

Thanks man, ill check out that thread. Seems like its either glue or double sided tape which unfortunatly don't seem like a permanant solution. Mitsubishi sure isnt the best with attaching parts to the body

I don't know about tabs my mine is held with around 12 screws. To remove you might as well take off the entire bumper (easiest way).

there is a small tab there, if you don't see anything, stick a screw through the bottom and call it a day

Nothing like the good ol'busted lip on the Evo. I'm currently driving around with a busted lip. Next week I'll get either a CF or OEM replacement.
