Shifter Extenders, anyone here using them?

Yeah, I don't like the aluminum extenders. A friend had one on his Civic and it just felt weird. I also really dislike super light shift knobs.

Not sure, since I haven't driven an Evo with one. I'm sure some of the other guys in this thread can answer that.

I'd think yes, because the extender gives you more leverage.

Yes, mine seems to slip into gear better/ smoother and then changing the trans fluid to amsoil mtg made a night and day difference for me. Almost like the shifter gets sucked into gear.lol kinda wierd

As of now, I definitely like the extended with the short shifter. I haven't tried the heavier model yet. I'll have to try it. It does slip into gear a lot easier, A LOT EASIER!

Thanks for the info! I'm hoping for that. I'm kind of paranoid with the transmission and I want it to slip into gear with the less stress possible on the synchros!
